Baptism

WHAT IS BAPTISM?

Baptism is a meaningful step in your faith journey, signifying your commitment to follow Jesus. It represents being cleansed of your old life and stepping into the new, abundant life that God offers through His Son. Immersion in water symbolizes Jesus’ death and burial, while rising from the water reflects His resurrection and victory over sin and death.

Why Baptism Matters

Baptism is a public declaration of the inward change that happens when you accept Jesus. It’s an act of obedience, following the example Jesus set for us during His time on earth. Through baptism, we proclaim our faith and reflect the new life we’ve found in Him.

Romans 6:4 beautifully illustrates this:

"We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life."

The Story of Salvation

Every one of us has sinned, creating a separation between ourselves and God. However, through Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection, God has provided a way for us to be forgiven and restored.

Jesus lived a sinless life, died to bear the punishment for our sins, and rose again to conquer death. Baptism is an outward celebration of this good news, showing the world that we have embraced God’s gift of salvation and are committed to following Him.
